Since Skyrim's release hundreds of mods have been made...however, some are better than others and some are not. This is my list of 10 mods that in my opinion are the best so far.
1. SkyUI
SkyUI is a mod that completely overhauls the user interface. It adds advanced tools and makes the UI easier to use.

2.Skyrim HD
This mod, even though it's not yet finished, makes the game look extremely better. It replaces the vanilla textures with high definition ones

3.Skyrim Flora Overhaul
This mod aims to completely overhaul skyrim's flora by replacing the vanilla textures of every plant,tree and leaf.

4.More craftable weapons by JaySuS
This mod adds more than 50 new craftable weapons. All of them are very high quality.

5.Static Mesh Improvement Mod
This mod is already at my list of the best graphics and visuals mod and it is worth to be at my list of the top 10 skyrim mods....it aims to replace all 2d objects in skyrim with 3d, it also aims to remove blockiness and make clutter, sharp and realistic.

6.Tytanis
Tytanis is a mod that adds a LOT of things to Skyrim. The author has stated that he has spent a lot of nights without sleeping to make this mod. The additions range from more craftable items to ridable mammoths and sabre cats. A medium ammount of spells is added and concerning items, Tytanis adds so many new equipment that you can't realy count them!

7. Wars In Skyrim
Did you ever want to see farmers protecting their crops, villagers defending their homes or even soldiers fighting with each other. Well, this mod improves the immersion of the game by doing exactly that thing. It randomly adds NPCs anywhere in Skyrim and makes them fight. It even adds 30 new enemies, and much more!

8. Midas Magic
Do you remember Midas Magic from Oblivion, this mod is the same thing, by the same author, but with better spells and new quests, it even adds a better way to obtain spells! I am not going to spoil the fun for you so I wont be giving any other information. The mod is not balanced yet and there are some bugs that will soon be fixed.

9.Realistic Smoke and Embers
This mod is a must! It makes all fire and smoke in the game fantastic. I totally recomend it to everyone, especially fire mages! The author of this mod won't be updating it anymore, and another guy will do it instead of him. So, dont expect very fast updates and bug fixes.

10.Realistic Lighting Without Post-Processing
This mod adds realistic lighting to Skyrim. That means brighter days, darker nights, and of course darker dungeons. In addition the mod is customizable, and doesnt use any ENB Series technology so it won't realy hit your frame-rate.
